Sundays are the perfect days to take it easy and chill. But it's incomplete without good music to go with it. So we sat down and put together a list of some of the smoothest soul artists in the land that we think would be perfect to add to your playlist.

Take a look below

H.E.R

She's mysterious. Hardly ever shows her face but her music is heaven sent! H.E.R's biggest draw is the brutal honestly and sincerity of her lyrics. Whether you're in love, in your feels or just wanna chill, H.E.R has something for the mood.

Langa Mavuso

Voices don't get silkier than this! Langa Mavuso is gifted with one of the smoothest set of vocal chords we've heard in a while and has an incredible knack for transporting the soul to a beautiful place far far away as he serves a sweet serenade. It's hard to believe he is still so new to the scene but that simply means we have years ahead of enjoying his music!

Mpho Sebina

No one does covers quite like Mpho Sebina. Not only does she have a voice as delectable as grandma's seven colors, she's been quietly displaying her penchant for reimagining timeless hits in the most soulfied way possible. Who knew Boom Shaka and Erykah Badu could be married so beautifully?

Daniel Caesar

It's mind blowing that so much musical maturity can live within a 22 year old but then again Daniel Caesar clearly isn't your regular singer. The Canadian R&B sensation was probably the best thing to happen to us in 2017 and his debut album 'Freudian' has undoubtedly been the soundtrack to many a date night and lovers playlist. Be warned though, it's going to be incredibly hard picking a favourite track off it! They're all just that good!

DVSN

If there's one thing DVSN has done impeccably, it's add a modern, edgy and progressive sounds to R&B. The Canadian duo is hardly two years on the scene but that hasn't stopped the OVO signees from sending sensual shockwaves through the sprits of soul lovers. Be sure to check out their two albums, 'Sept. 5th' and 'Morning After'.
