The year’s largest night for musos, the 60th Grammy Awards are here, and the nominee list is out.
Grammy Award-nominated artist Andra Day, made the announcement of The Big 4 categories – Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year – late last year on CBS This Morning. Soon after that, the Recording Academy released the nominees in all 84 categories.
The question on everybody’s lips is: which artists have received the most nominations?
Rap icon, Jay Z tops the pack with 8 nominations this year, including in some of the most contested categories – Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.
Following Jay Z very closely is Kendrick Lamar who’s been nominated in 7 categories. Singer-songwriter, Bruno Mars is nominated in 6 categories. This year’s most Grammy-nominated woman is SZA with 5 nominations.
The 2018 Grammys mark the award show's return to the Big Apple after it moved to Los Angeles in 2004. Hosting the show will be James Corden who hosted last year’s show.
